Importance of Pre-Pregnancy Check

Pregnancy is a period of about 40 weeks from the date of the last menstrual period, when the fetus develops in the woman’s uterus, until birth. Although it is a physiological period, there may be some problems for mother and baby. Therefore, a physician should be consulted before pregnancy. If there is a condition that will prevent or complicate pregnancy, it should be detected in advance. If the mother has heart, diabetes, asthma or kidney diseases, the effects of these diseases on the mother are examined in advance and pregnancy risks are determined.
